ABOUT ME

Karolina
Taracha
Authenticity has always been deeply important to me. As a child, I loved expressing myself through dancing, singing, and exploring the world with curiosity and joy. Yet as I moved through life — both personally and professionally — I began to notice how difficult it can be to truly be yourself. Disappointments and painful experiences taught me to protect myself by wearing a mask. Over time, I stopped trusting others and learned to rely only on myself.
As you can imagine, that can become a very lonely place to live from. Eventually, you become so accustomed to hiding parts of yourself that you no longer realise the mask is there. My own journey of self-work helped me unpack painful experiences, heal old wounds, and develop compassion — both for myself and for the people I encountered along the way. Through that process, I discovered that there is a lighter, more meaningful way to move through life.
I truly believe there is nothing wrong with not having everything figured out. Coaching and counselling played a transformative role in helping me navigate my own fears and challenges, and I know firsthand the relief and freedom that can exist on the other side of that work. When we begin to show up more authentically and let go of the need to constantly protect ourselves, our relationships improve in profound ways. We also regain the energy to pursue the things that truly matter to us.
My personal experiences, together with my professional training as a coach and counsellor, allow me to support people who may feel stuck in painful patterns — repeating the same cycles, feeling misunderstood, disappointed in others, disconnected, or unsure why relationships seem so difficult.
In my work as a therapist, I integrate coaching, cognitive behavioural therapy, emotion-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and somatic approaches. I work from a client-centred and trauma-informed perspective, while drawing inspiration from positive psychology. Although we cannot change our past, I truly believe we can choose how we show up for ourselves and others today.
Outside of my professional work, I am an avid hiker, traveller, and nature enthusiast. I love climbing mountains, swimming in the ocean, and spending time outdoors. Some of my happiest moments are the simplest ones — relaxing on the beach, sharing time with friends, baking pies, and finding inspiration in the beauty of nature around us.
